Trump Watches draw criticism after many customers report delays and unreceived orders

A growing number of customers are voicing frustration after claiming they were scammed by Trump Watches, sold on GetTrumpWatches.com. The watches, linked to President Donald Trump, range in price from $499 to $2,999, with an “Ultra Mega Collector Set” costing over $5,000.

The watches are produced by TheBestWatchesonEarth LLC, which advertises them as “Swiss-made.” Despite the marketing, many buyers say they have not received their orders. Complaints include delayed shipments, missing deliveries, and unresponsive customer service.

Expensive Watches Spark Outrage Among Loyal Buyers

On Trustpilot, a major review platform, 57 percent of reviewers gave the company just one star, while another 3 percent gave two stars. Many reviewers accuse the company of scamming customers and failing to deliver on its promises.

Even some Trump supporters expressed disappointment. One reviewer said their daughters ordered a watch as a gift for an 80th birthday but waited five months without receiving it. Timothy M. Reynolds warned others, “DO NOT order anything from these people,” while another customer, L.S., wrote, “Took my money then nothing. I was scammed.”

International buyers also reported problems. Rainer Lüddeckens from Sweden said his July order never arrived, and Mike from Norway threatened legal action. A Swiss reviewer, Lemme be Frank, criticized the service as “absolutely horrible” and advised avoiding the watches.

Mixed Reviews and Company Response

Not all buyers were dissatisfied. About 33 percent of reviewers gave five stars. Customers like dsgreen, Kathy Millard, and Greg praised the watches for quality, packaging, and design. Some said their purchase was “worth the wait” and even received compliments from jewelers.

Despite these positive reviews, the large number of complaints dominated public perception. When contacted, Ryan, the head of customer service at the producer company, dismissed negative reviews as “fake news”. He claimed that “tens of thousands of satisfied people” had purchased Trump Watches and that some complaints had been resolved.

The company also directed customers to its official website, which displays only five-star testimonials. It clarified that Trump Watches are not designed, manufactured, or sold by President Trump or the Trump Organization, even though Trump appears in TV ads. An automated response mentioned that high volumes of requests could cause delays in handling orders.

Some buyers, like TERRY BARBER, faced additional issues. His limited-edition watch arrived late and started gaining time immediately, remaining in repair for weeks. Others reported orders of nearly $3,000 that were repeatedly delayed despite multiple refund requests.

Questions Over Production and Growing Online Anger

Concerns also exist about the origin of the watches. Investigations revealed that the company operates from a Wyoming shopping center, not Switzerland, raising doubts about the “Swiss-made” claim. Delivery times listed as “estimates only” do not explain why some customers waited for months without updates or resolution.

Frustrated buyers have shared emails, screenshots, and social media posts documenting their unfulfilled orders. Many purchased the watches as gifts for family or special occasions, only to end up disappointed.

The controversy gained wider attention after California Governor Gavin Newsom mocked the TV ads for the watches. The commercials promoted collectible “Fight Fight Fight” models while the country faced a government shutdown affecting healthcare, highlighting the tone-deaf timing of the ads.

Despite the backlash, GetTrumpWatches.com continues to market the them as premium and collectible, emphasizing limited editions and Trump branding. While some customers have received their watches and expressed satisfaction, the large number of unresolved complaints has fueled widespread outrage online, particularly among those who support President Trump.
