An online bond platform provider is a website or app, run by a SEBI-registered stock broker, that sells listed bonds and NCDs to individual investors. SEBI has regulated these platforms since November 2022.
OBPPs may only offer listed debt securities (and those being listed), and trades must be settled through the stock exchanges' clearing corporations. They must show the rating, the yield and the risks of each bond, and disclose any fees in the price.
Before buying through a platform, open the issuer's page here to see all its outstanding bonds, its rating history and its disclosure documents on BSE.
