Far-Right Activist Laura Loomer Sounds the Alarm: “Hitler Glorification Is Spreading in the GOP — And Leaders Are Silent”

Laura Loomer, a far-right activist and outspoken supporter of President Donald Trump, has issued a stark warning to the Republican Party. She claims the party could face serious losses in upcoming elections, including the 2028 presidential race, if it fails to confront what she calls its “Nazi problem”.

Loomer Speaks Out on Party Extremism

Loomer posted on X (formerly Twitter) expressing deep concern about the party’s direction. She highlighted examples of young supporters on social media, particularly TikTok, glorifying Hitler and performing Nazi salutes. Loomer argued that this trend reflects a larger moral crisis within the party.

She also criticized conservative media figures, including Tucker Carlson, for controversial comments. Carlson, at Charlie Kirk’s memorial, compared the MAGA youth leader to Jesus and suggested a group of people were scheming against him. Loomer described this as an example of antisemitism among conservative circles.

In her post, Loomer warned that if the GOP does not address these issues, it could lose the midterms and further elections in 2026 and 2028. She wrote, “The GOP won’t address it, so they have nobody to blame but themselves when they lose.” Loomer also mentioned conservative commentator Candace Owens, saying unfounded conspiracy theories she promoted added to the antisemitic environment.

Controversy Around Media Figures

The activist drew attention to Carlson’s interview with Holocaust-denying, white nationalist Nick Fuentes, calling it a clear example of the party tolerating extremist views. Loomer stated that hosting individuals who praised Hitler and aimed to target Jewish people without pushback makes participants complicit in spreading hatred.

Senator Ted Cruz criticized Carlson for giving Fuentes a platform, emphasizing that silence in the face of extremist ideology is a moral failure. President Trump, however, defended Carlson’s right to choose his guests, saying people should decide for themselves whom to listen to. Loomer interpreted Trump’s response as further evidence of the party’s lack of moral clarity.

Loomer also addressed antisemitic language and behavior within the party. She referenced Trump’s July speech where he used the term “Shylock”, a term historically associated with antisemitic stereotypes. She also noted Trump’s past claims that Jewish voters who support Democrats “hate Israel” and their religion, which she said contributes to the GOP’s moral crisis.

Loomer Highlights Broader Party Concerns

The activist warned that extremist behavior, admiration for historical figures tied to hate, and controversial statements by conservative leaders are likely to alienate voters. She described the party’s current environment as a “nihilistic Nazi love fest” and expressed concern that it could lead to significant electoral losses.

Loomer also oddly claimed that “Muslims on the Left” are “loving” the GOP’s extremist problem by not actively challenging it. According to her, ignoring these issues signals a lack of moral clarity, which will hurt the party’s chances in the midterms and beyond.

By highlighting incidents involving Tucker Carlson, Nick Fuentes, Candace Owens, Charlie Kirk, and President Donald Trump, Loomer painted a picture of a party facing internal divisions and extreme rhetoric. Her post has drawn attention for its warnings about the GOP’s direction and potential electoral consequences if these issues are not addressed.
